Communities and Local Government works to help people and local organisations create strong, attractive and economically thriving communities and neighbourhoods.

Improvement and Development Agency for local government (IDeA)

The IDeA works for local government improvement so councils can serve people and places better. It is owned by the Local Government Association and belongs to local government.

The Centre for Social Cohesion 

The Centre for Social Cohesion is a non-partisan think-tank that studies issues related to community cohesion in the UK. Committed to the promotion of human rights, it is the first think-tank in the UK to specialise in studying radicalisation and extremism within Britain.

The Runnymede Trust

The Runnymede Trust's mandate is to promote a successful multi-ethnic Britain - a Britain where citizens and communities feel valued, enjoy equal opportunities to develop their talents, lead fulfilling lives and accept collective responsibility, all in the spirit of civic friendship, shared identity and a common sense of belonging.

The Institute of Race Relations (IRR) 

The Institute of Race Relations (IRR) was established as an independent educational charity in 1958 to carry out research, publish and collect resources on race relations throughout the world.

The British Council

The British Council has been creating ties between people in the UK and those in other countries for almost 75 years. It is the UK's international organisation for educational opportunities and cultural relations. As well as education, they run programmes in the arts, science, sport, governance and English language.
